Discerning homebuyers can explore a beautifully-redesigned showhome by coming along to a special tea party at Taylor Wimpey’s popular Willow Place development in Glastonbury, Somerset.

The leading housebuilder’s expert team of interior designers are currently putting the finishing touches to the stylish ‘Scotney’ showhome, which has been given a fresh look with brand new decor and furnishings.

Property-seekers can take a look around the new show property by coming along to the tea party at Willow Place on Saturday 23rd August between 11am and 5pm.

Charlie Joseph, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re very excited to be relaunching our ‘Scotney’ showhome at Willow Place, which has been a big hit with home-seekers in its previous guise and has now been given a fantastic redesign.

“Our tea party on 23rd August is a great opportunity for prospective purchasers to come and look around the development and the new showhome, and we hope to see as many people there as possible.”

The three-bedroom ‘Scotney’ townhouse boasts a light and airy living/dining room with room for a dining table, perfect for family mealtimes, and opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a kitchen/breakfast room featuring a contemporary fitted kitchen and a guest cloakroom completing the ground floor layout.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to two bedrooms, one of which overlooks the turfed rear garden, and a main bathroom, while the spacious master bedroom and en-suite bathroom, featuring a double-sized shower enclosure, enjoys appealing seclusion on the top floor.

There’s currently a choice of homes available to buy at Willow Place, including two-bedroom properties from £145,000, three-bedroom homes from £195,000 and four-bedroom houses from £235,000.

To make securing their perfect property even easier, eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can secure a Government loan for 20% of its full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Located within a designated conservation area, Willow Place enjoys an enviable location on the outskirts of the ancient market town of Glastonbury and boasts its own pond and wetland area right on the doorstep.

The town centre features an appealing mixture of quirky and independent shops and high street retailers, plus a wide range of cafes, restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes.

Parents will appreciate that there are a number of schools in the area, such as St Benedict’s Church of England Junior School in Glastonbury which was rated ‘good’ by Ofsted in its most recent inspection.

Commuters will find that the development is a short drive from junction 23 of the M5 for links to Exeter and Bristol.

Property-seekers can explore the newly-decorated ‘Scotney’ showhome at Willow Place by coming along to the tea party at the development, located off Wells Road, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 9AW, on Saturday 23rd August between 11am and 5pm. Alternatively, the Sales and Information Centre is open daily from 11am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
