Local people joined staff from Taylor Wimpey for the launch of the leading housebuilder’s new Southmoor Grange development in the village of Southmoor, Oxfordshire.

The developer invited members of the local community to visit the site on Saturday 9th August to enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting with the Oxford Wine Company to mark the opening of the development and its two showhomes.

Near-neighbours were also specially invited to Southmoor Grange on Thursday 7th August for an exclusive preview of the development, which comprises a superb selection of high-quality three, four and five-bedroom properties.

Stephanie Kehoe, Regional Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re thrilled to launch this superb new collection of homes and wanted to invite people to come and visit us at Southmoor Grange to enjoy a glass of wine with us to mark the occasion.

“We also invited our near-neighbours to the development separately two days beforehand to give them the chance to have a preview of the new properties.

“The impressive new homes at Southmoor Grange are already proving popular with discerning buyers – so I’d urge property-seekers to act immediately if they want to find out more.”

There’s a selection of three-bedroom homes now on sale at the development from just £312,500, while four-bedroom properties are priced from only £420,000 and five-bedroom designs from £575,000.

Visitors to the development can get an insight into the superb lifestyle on offer at the development by exploring two stunning new showhomes – the four-bedroom ‘Shelford’ and four-bedroom ‘Regent’.

What’s more, homeowners looking to make the move to Southmoor Grange can take all the stress out of selling their old property by taking advantage of Taylor Wimpey’s Part Exchange scheme.

Part Exchange sees purchasers receive an agreed offer price for their existing home, based on the average of independent professional valuations, and they can stay in their old place until their new home is ready.

The new homes at Southmoor Grange lie within easy reach of Southmoor’s village facilities, which include a convenience store, a newsagent, a pub, a village hall and a primary school. The village also boasts a thriving social calendar, with local groups including a tennis club, a cricket club and a drama society.

Meanwhile, all the amenities of Oxford city centre are just 10 miles away and the historic market town of Abingdon is just six miles from home for a wider range of shops and supermarkets, as well as secondary schools and leisure facilities.

For commuters, the A420 is close by, offering easy access to Oxford, Swindon, the M40 and the M4, while Didcot Parkway railway station, just 12 miles away, provides direct services to London Paddington.

To find out more about the superb new homes at Southmoor Grange, property seekers can visit the Sales Information Centre, located off Draycott Road, Southmoor. The development is open daily from 10am to 5pm.
