The Prodigy to headline Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza closing party
After a phenomenal first season, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza in collaboration with neighbouring property Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel announces UK group The Prodigy as its headline act for its closing party on Friday 19 September.
With a long and prosperous musical history selling over 25 million records and punctuated with numerous accolades, The Prodigy brings one of the most iconic dance acts of all time to Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel for the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza closing event.
With two Brit Awards - winning Best British Dance Act twice, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Kerrang Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards, and two Grammy nominations, The Prodigy has been credited as pioneers of the big beat genre and since emerging on the underground rave scene in the early 1990s has achieved worldwide acclaim. The group's brand of music makes use of various styles ranging from rave, hardcore techno, industrial and jungle to big beat and electronic rock with punk vocal elements in later times.
Offering a one-off set complemented by a spectacular beach side setting and prodigious pyrotechnics, visitors can enjoy what is set to be one of the stand-out closing gigs of the Ibiza season.
