EE customers get 4G speeds in 16 more countries this Bank Holiday

EE announced it has extended access to superfast 4G for customers travelling to 16 countries. The deals are the latest in a series of outbound roaming agreements that will allow EE customers to enjoy 4G speeds in the world’s most popular travel destinations.

Customers travelling to Canada, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, UAE, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland can now benefit from the speeds and capacity offered by 4G. This is in addition to France and Spain, where roaming agreements were launched in March and South Korea which will be launched on the 22nd of August.

The option to enjoy 4G speeds abroad in these countries is immediately available to Consumer and Small Business customers, with Corporate customers to follow soon.  EE will continue to extend its 4G coverage across major roaming destinations throughout 2014.

Our customers will benefit in 15 destinations today, with further popular travel destinations to follow in the coming months.

EE offers great value data roaming bundles with a range of consumer and small business price plans including just £3 for 50MB up to £25 for a huge 500MB in the EU.  Customers can only use data on their mobile if they purchase a bundle, meaning they’re free to use 4G data whilst abroad without fear of spending more than they expected. Customers on EE small business plans can also buy 2GB of EU roaming data for just £75 plus VAT.

Customers on 4GEE Extra plans also get unlimited roaming minutes and texts to select countries as part of their plan. 4GEE Extra customers also enjoy speeds of approximately 60Mbps in 20 cities in the UK, as well as generous data bundles, inclusive texts and minutes.  Customers on Business Extra plans also get international benefits with 3 hours of roaming and international calls every month to and from Europe and USA.
