Samsung Galaxy Alpha available to pre-order in the UK from 28 August
Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Alpha will be available to pre-order in the UK on the Samsung e-store and selected partners from Thursday 28th August. Those that have pre-ordered the device will then be able to collect the latest addition to Samsung’s Galaxy smartphone line up from the Samsung Experience Stores and the Samsung Store at Westfield Stratford City on Wednesday 10th September. The Galaxy Alpha will go on general sale with selected online and high street retailers including Carphone Warehouse and Phones4u to follow from Friday 12th September.
Focusing on smart aesthetics, Samsung has taken a fresh approach to design with the Galaxy Alpha. Featuring a metal frame, elegantly curved corners and a soft back cover, the Galaxy Alpha is one of the slimmest Galaxy devices ever at less than 7mm thick.
Despite its slim, lightweight design, the Galaxy Alpha provides the same powerful hardware and features you would expect from a flagship Galaxy mobile device. It is equipped with a brilliant 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display as well as an advanced camera and real time HDR for an unrivalled viewing and photo experience. The Galaxy Alpha also includes innovative and popular features such as Ultra-Power Saving Mode, S Health, Finger Print Scanner, Private Mode and connectivity with the latest Samsung Gear Fit, Gear Live and Gear 2 wearables.

The Galaxy Alpha will be available in the UK in Charcoal Black, Dazzling White, Frosted Gold, Sleek Silver, and Scuba Blue.
