Discerning property-seekers are being urged to act now if they want to secure their dream home this year at Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after Cranbrook development near Exeter.

Due to high levels of demand there are now only a few opportunities to move to the development in 2014, so with limited availability anyone hoping to be settled in their new home by the end of the year is advised to get in quick while they still can!

Property designs due to be ready this year include the popular four-bedroom ‘Candleston’ and ‘Welford’ housetypes as well as the five-bedroom ‘Kennilworth’ – which are each available with Taylor Wimpey’s fantastic Part Exchange scheme.

With Taylor Wimpey as their cash buyer, Part Exchange customers receive an agreed offer price for their old property, based on the average of at least two independent professional valuations – leaving them free to sit back and relax until their new home is ready to move into.

Janine Copleston, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “It’s no surprise there’s been such incredible demand for our new-build properties at Cranbrook, as they represent great value for money and are built to an exceptionally high standard – and we have a host of homebuyer incentives available to make moving easier and more affordable!

“Anyone planning on making their move to a new home this year would be wise to contact us without delay – or risk missing out!”

The ‘Welford’ is priced from £379,995 and benefits from a light and airy kitchen/breakfast room and a separate dining room, both opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a spacious living room, a study and a guest cloakroom completing the ground-floor layout.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, three further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside, there’s a double garage and driveway parking.

Meanwhile, the ‘Candleston’, priced from £324,995, includes a kitchen/breakfast room, a living room, a dining room, a study and a cloakroom off the entrance hallway, with four bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities, and a family bathroom upstairs, and a garage and parking outside.

Alternatively, the ‘Kennilworth’ is available from £479,995 and boasts generous accommodation across three floors, including a kitchen/dining/family room, a living room, a study, a utility room and a cloakroom downstairs and an en-suite guest bedroom, three further bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, with the en-suite master bedroom enjoying appealing seclusion on the top floor.

Located eight miles from Exeter, Cranbrook is a brand new community of eco-friendly homes and is the first new town of its kind in Devon.

Parents will appreciate the choice of new primary and secondary schools in the area, while a range of community facilities, including a health centre and a central shopping street, are being created as part of this new development.

For commuters, junction 29 of the M5 is just minutes away for journeys to Exeter and Bristol, while a new railway station is due to be built for 2015 offering direct services to London Waterloo.

To find out more about securing a new home this year at Cranbrook, property-seekers can visit the Sales Information Centre, located off London Road, Exeter, Devon, EX5 2DY, and open daily from 11am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
