Open Day for downsizers

With more than half of over 75s living alone and reports of an increase in loneliness amongst older people, an open day in Worcester offers a chance to buck the trend.

A single visit to Aspen Retirement’s luxury apartments could be enough for people to find out how to retain their independence but enjoy the company of like-minded individuals on a daily basis.

There are said to be more than 54,000 lonely over 60s in Worcestershire, but at Eastbank Court retirees can choose to spend time in the company of their new neighbours in hotel-style surroundings.

To showcase the luxurious facilities and enviable lifestyle available Aspen Retirement is holding a special open day on September 4. From 11am to 3pm visitors will be able to explore and meet those already living at Eastbank Court.

They’ll also receive a voucher entitling them to a special package of incentives designed to make moving easy and stress-free.

We’re can ease the transition by paying removals for those who live within 15 miles of the development. We’ll also cover estate agent’s fees and legal costs up to £1,000.”

The incentives will be valid if they reserve by Christmas and move in by March 31, 2015.
