Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has confirmed the official launch date for its forthcoming Saxon Mead development in Staplehurst, Kent.

The first selection of high-quality properties at this eagerly-awaited new homes collection, bordered by attractive woodland and picturesque open countryside, will be unveiled to homebuyers on Wednesday 10th September.

Those attending the launch event at Taylor Wimpey’s Rookery Court development in nearby Marden will receive the first opportunity to view detailed plans and prices for the initial release of two, three, four and five-bedroom houses – as well as reserve their favourite plot off-plan.

Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Excitement is really starting to build now that the official launch date of our hotly-anticipated Saxon Mead development has been confirmed.

“We’ve already received significant interest from aspiring purchasers hoping to secure their perfect property in a stunning semi-rural location, and we’re expecting the new homes to be snapped up fast.

“I’d therefore urge anyone interested in finding out more to book their appointment to see us at Rookery Court on Wednesday 10th September – and ensure they don’t miss out.”

Saxon Mead will comprise an exceptional selection of traditionally designed homes to suit buyers in a wide range of circumstances, from those taking their first step on the property ladder to families and downsizers.

To make choosing a home at the development even easier and more affordable, Taylor Wimpey will also offer a range of helpful incentives, including Part Exchange and easymover for those with a property to sell.

Saxon Mead benefits from a wonderful tree-lined location on the edge of Staplehurst, offering modern living in a countryside setting.

Part of the site will be preserved as community woodland, a nature reserve and green open space, with the vast majority of existing mature trees being retained.

Staplehurst is a large, thriving village, with a host of local amenities including shops, pubs, a library, a medical centre and a primary school.

The village calendar includes an annual carnival and fete, while there’s a wide range of clubs and societies from sports to amateur dramatics.

Staplehurst railway station offers direct services to London in just over an hour and Ashford International offers quick links to the continent, while commuters will also appreciate the development is just nine miles from the M20 for easy access to London.

All the amenities of Maidstone town centre are just eight miles away, including shopping centres and a choice of supermarkets, along with a leisure centre and swimming pool, a bowling alley, a multi-screen cinema and theatres. Boat trips along the River Medway and historic Leeds Castle are ideal for days out.

To be among the first to reserve a new home off-plan at Taylor Wimpey’s Saxon Mead, property-seekers should book an appointment to visit the Rookery Court Sales and Marketing Suite, off Roundel Way, Marden, TN12 9TW, between 10am and 5pm on Wednesday 10th September.

Appointments can be booked by calling 01580 230546 and the development is also open Wednesday to Saturday during the same hours (again, by appointment only).
