Climb the housing ladder in Halling

Homeowners are being urged to go the whole hog and part exchange their current property for a brand new home in Halling.

Award-winning homebuilder Redrow is holding a special part exchange event at its hugely popular St Andrews Park development this Saturday (September 13).

From noon to 4pm visitors will be able to find out how they can climb the housing ladder quickly and easily.

During the event there will also be the chance to tuck into a hog roast with all of the trimmings.

Kerry Jenkins, sales director for Redrow Homes (South East), explains: “St Andrews Park has been a great success and because the homes are selling so quickly, we’re finding that people with a house to sell are worried that they will have to miss out on their preferred property if they can’t secure a buyer quickly. With that in mind, we’re inviting homeowners to join us this Saturday to discover how they could wrap up the sale of their old home and purchase a brand new one with part exchange.

“To sell and buy in this way, the customer must be selling a property that’s generally worth at least 35% less than the home they want to buy. If the price differential is suitable, we’ll effectively act as a cash buyer and purchase their property so they can buy one of our brand new homes. It’s a quick and stress-free way to move without getting caught up in a complicated, slow moving chain.”

St Andrews Park currently offers a good choice of three, four and five-bedroom designs from Redrow’s sought-after Heritage Collection with prices ranging from £299,995 to £569,995.

Inspired by the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era, the properties look traditional from the outside. Inside, however, they’re bright and modern, with a high specification as standard.

The new homes enjoy a fantastic location set against the backdrop of chalk cliffs, looking down to the River Medway and across the Medway valley.

It’s an ideal base for commuters thanks to easy access to the M20 and M2, which are around three miles away. Trains from Halling station reach London in little over 45 minutes. The village itself has a Post Office and local shop while Bluewater Shopping Centre is just 13 miles away.
