Life is for living and with a world jam-packed full of things to do and see, the idea of creating a bucket list of once in a lifetime experiences can be more complicated than expected. However, there’s no need to panic as Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts and Fowl Cay Resort have a few suggestions of once in a lifetime experiences available on some of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean.

Escape to your own private island

Experience the ultimate private island holiday and a slice of laid-back, all-inclusive luxury at Fowl Cay Resort, set in the secluded chain of the Exumas; a chain of 365 stunning scattered islands, deserted beaches and sandbars stretching across 120 miles of the Bahamas.

With no neighbouring hotels, no passing ships and no crowds, the 50-acre private retreat offers guests an incredible holiday experience, combining the freedom of renting one’s very own island villa (or even the entire island!) with all the quality amenities of a full-service resort.

Fowl Cay Resort features six uniquely designed one-, two- and three-bedroom villas, all of which boast stunning ocean views of the central Exumas. Each villa comes complete with its own motor boat, a golf cart and use of all of the equipment on the island, giving guests the freedom to explore paradise at their own pace. Whilst staying at Fowl Cay Resort, guests can snorkel through some of the world’s most beautiful coral reefs, feed wild nurse sharks at Compass Bay Marina, visit the famous swimming pigs at Big Major Cay and picnic on a different secluded island beach every day.

The entire island can be rented for approximately £56,990, which equates to just £2,192 per person for a true private island experience.  Villas can also be booked on an individual basis and prices vary depending on the size of the villa.
