A development of 26 new homes in the West Yorkshire village of Skelmanthorpe will also bring benefits for the local community.

As well as providing a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes, Redrow will contribute almost £133,000 to education and a public open space in the area.

Launching officially in January and to be known as Radley Fold, Redrow’s new scheme on Strike Lane will feature traditionally styled homes from its popular Heritage Collection, which marries traditional Arts and Crafts architectural design with contemporary, 21st Century interiors.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said: “We’re expecting high demand for these family homes in Skelmanthorpe so we’d urge potential buyers to register their interest now so they can be first in the queue when the properties become available.

“The homes will all be built with modern living in mind featuring spacious open plan kitchen / dining areas at their heart, ideal for family living, plus high quality fixtures and fittings including top brand name appliances.”

Properties to feature will include the ‘Cambridge’, a popular four-bedroom detached home with a spacious kitchen, dining and family room overlooking the rear garden, plus a generous master bedroom with en suite.

The village of Skelmanthorpe offers the best of both worlds - surrounded by countryside but lying within easy reach of Huddersfield, Wakefield, Leeds and Sheffield. There are also two primary schools in the village making it an ideal base for families.

Prices will be announced when the venture launches in January 2015 but buyers can register their interest or find out more by visiting redrow.co.uk/radley.
