Anticipation is building in Durham as prospective buyers eagerly await the opening of an exclusive showhome in the city on Saturday 27th September.

Charles Church Teesside is building just 22 homes at Potters Wynd with a range of luxury four and five-bedroom properties being developed. Eight of these stunning five-bedroom detached properties have already been sold.

The builder is on standby to welcome an influx of visitors when the showhome opens with the marketing suite open from Thursday through to Monday 11am until 6pm.

Christine Cooper, sales and marketing director for Charles Church Teesside, said: “This really is an impressive development and we would encourage anyone looking to move to come and view these exclusive homes.

“Our initial release of properties has already generated lots of interest as people quickly realised the real charm of the development’s surroundings, which is equally matched by the design and construction of the homes available.”

Christine also stressed that with Part Exchange available, anyone looking to move could be in their new home for Christmas.

“If you are eligible for part exchange, we arrange at least two valuations, then agree a price and buy your existing property. We aim to take the stress out of moving as there are no hidden marketing costs and no chains to break,” she added.

The stunning detached Cuthbert showhome with design features includes a 30ft by 11ft kitchen/breakfast/family room plus utility with stunning views of Durham. There are five bedrooms including a master bedroom with en suite. A second bedroom also benefits from an en suite and there is a stunning lounge with double set of patio doors that opens onto a spacious balcony.

Durham is a city steeped in history and has been the home of Durham University since 1832. Its steep riverbanks are densely wooded, adding to the beauty of the city while it offers great facilities, including the Prince Bishops Shopping Centre with leading retailers along with a range of unique boutiques.

It also has great commuter links being perfectly located for both the East Coast railway line and the A1 (M) motorway.
