First-time buyers in Doncaster can get all the advice they need on purchasing a home when Lovell hosts a mortgage advice weekend on the 27th and 28th September.

From 10am to 5pm, home buyers can join the house builder and an independent mortgage adviser at Lincoln Gardens, located just off Carr House Road, for advice and guidance on the latest home buying help.

From the Government-backed Help to Buy to Lovell’s own home buying help, there’s a wealth of assistance on offer from Lovell to get first-time buyers onto the first rung of the property ladder.

Sue Bowker, Sales Adviser at Lincoln Gardens, comments: “We know buyers often feel overwhelmed when it comes to purchasing their first home, so we are giving them an opportunity to find out more and ask questions on the home buying help available to them.

“We have a range of schemes to help buyers plan their future with Lovell, whether they need assistance with their deposit or a Government supported loan to secure a more affordable mortgage.”

Visitors to the event will be able to find out more about Help to Buy, Give and Gain, Bank and Build, and how to get 5% towards their deposit.

Help to Buy

The Help to Buy scheme allows buyers to reserve a home with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, backed up with 20% equity loan provided by the Government.

Give and Gain

As many first-time buyers rely on the bank of mum and dad for their deposit, Lovell is rewarding parents who chip in to help their offspring by paying the equivalent of 5% interest on the deposit given. Parents, family or friends can gift a deposit of up to 20% and will earn the interest over the course of five years.

Bank and Build

Lovell’s Bank and Build is ideal for those who are struggling to save their deposit, as the house builder will match your 5% deposit and turn it into a 10% deposit.

5% towards your deposit

Lovell will bring your new home within easy reach by paying 5% towards the deposit of your new home, ensuring you can secure a mortgage and the home of your dreams.

Those popping in over the course of the weekend will also have the opportunity to take a look around Lincoln Gardens’ stylish show homes and find out more about the two and three-bedroom homes currently available at the development.

Homes feature a high specification, including a fully fitted kitchen with integrated cooking appliances, stylish modern bathroom and smart utility metering.

Sue adds: “This is a great chance for buyers to get all of the advice and support they need, and find a home that suits their needs and their lifestyle.”

Homes are priced from £114,995.
