Taylor Wimpey’s Clarence Court development in Houghton Le Spring is releasing new plots this year, following unprecedented demand from local homebuyers.

The scheme on Murton Lane offers a selection of modern three to four bedroom homes in a range of styles, and has seen an influx of interest from couples and families alike.

Karl Morton, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey North East, said: “Homes at Clarence Court are selling exceptionally quickly, thanks to the development’s superb location and wide range of home styles, so we have had to release more plots earlier than expected.

“For househunters looking to get on the property ladder, Clarence Court offers the perfect solution, boasting stunning new-build homes at affordable prices and with incentives such as Help to Buy.”

The government-backed Help to Buy initiative enables eligible buyers to secure brand-new homes worth up to £600,000 with just five per cent deposit, while also benefitting from a 20 per cent equity loan.

Clarence Court features a range of three to four bedroom properties including mews, semi-detached and detached designs, with prices starting from just £131,995 or £105,596 when using Help to Buy.

Karl concludes: “Based on the demand for new-build homes and properties in Houghton Le Spring, I would urge anybody on the market in the area, to get in touch as soon as possible before it’s too late.”
