Home-hunters interested in the exclusive Springwell Gardens development in Gateshead, are being urged to act fast; with developer Taylor Wimpey announcing only 11 homes remain.

The popular development of just 58 homes has experienced a peak in sales throughout the summer and credits schemes such as Help to Buy and Part Exchange for allowing more buyers in the area to progress on the housing ladder.

Karl Morton, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey North East says: “It’s never been easier to secure a brand-new home in a fantastic location, thanks to our buyer incentives such as Help to Buy.

“Given the increase in demand for new-build homes and the availability of our schemes, we expect the remaining 11 homes will be snapped up extremely quickly.”

Through the government-backed Help to Buy initiative, eligible purchasers can secure a new home with only a five per cent deposit, while also benefitting from a 20 per cent equity loan.

The development’s remaining properties include a range of stylish family homes, such as the four bedroom Sherwood, which features modern and spacious living areas throughout.

Prices on the remaining homes start from just £202,995, or £162,396 when purchased using the Help to Buy scheme; and are available in a variety of three and four bedroom home designs.

Karl concludes: “To avoid missing out, I would urge any househunters in Gateshead and the surrounding areas to arrange a viewing at Springwell Gardens as soon as possible.”
