According to Nationwide’s House Price Index , fewer than 20% of properties in Bexley are within 500 metres of a train station. The report also highlights that London home buyers are willing to pay a premium of approximately £42,000 for a home within 500 metres of a train or tube station. However, home buyers at Bellway Homes’ Belvedere Park development can have a home less than 500 metres from Belvedere station without paying a premium property price.

Bellway Homes has just launched the final phase of apartments for sale at the immensely successful Belvedere Park in Belvedere, Kent. However, of the 76 apartments available to purchase in this last phase, just 15 are currently still on the market, so interested purchasers should move quickly to avoid missing out.

Commenting on the sales success of Belvedere Park, Peter Knights, sales director at Bellway Homes Thames Gateway says: “The homes in this last phase, the Absolon Apartments, have sold even more quickly than the other phases. Within two weeks of the launch 80% of the apartments have been purchased. The demand for the homes has been so great that the sales team have only just kept up with the number of home buyers at Belvedere Park!”

Belvedere Park is an attractive development of five apartment buildings, set in pleasant landscaped gardens. The apartments are a mix of one and two bedroom homes, many benefitting from private balconies or terraces and all with a competitive price tag. Belvedere Park offers a distinct community feel, with a number of purchasers choosing to buy a home following a recommendation from friends or family members already resident at the development.

The final phase at Belvedere Park is the Absolon Apartments, with a range of one and two bedroom apartments. Prices for a two bedroom apartment range from £175,995 to £180,995. Residents will enjoy the excellent travel connections and will be just one stop along from Abbey Wood station, making it the ideal location to benefit from Crossrail.

A two bedroom home in the Absolon Apartments offers an open plan living/dining/kitchen area and many of the apartments have double aspect living rooms. A number of apartments have either a private balcony or terrace, with floor to ceiling doors that fill the room with light. The home also benefits from two generous double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom offers fitted wardrobes and en suite shower room.

Most apartments at Belvedere Park are available with fitted kitchens, encompassing contemporary units and a range of integrated appliances such as stainless steel hob and cooker. Bathrooms are modern and cool, with white sanitary ware, chrome fittings and ceramic tiling. There is also plenty of storage available, with two large storage cupboards in the hallway.

Just five minutes from Belvedere Park is Thamesmere Leisure Centre, which boasts state of the art fitness facilities including swimming pools, fitness suites and studios. Bexley is also home to over 100 open spaces, from small public gardens to stunning riverside and woodland areas for long walks.

In addition to the high speed rail links Crossrail from nearby Abbey Wood, Belvedere railway station is a short walk from the development, with regular services to London Bridge in just 30 minutes and Dartford in 12 minutes. Regular bus services can take residents into the surrounding areas, such as nearby Bexleyheath for high street shopping, and Bluewater, the UK’s fourth largest shopping centre.

Only two bedroom apartments at the Absolon Apartment Building are still available, ranging from £175,995 to £180,995. For further information, visit bellway.co.uk.
