People who purchase one of the stunning homes at Taylor Wimpey’s Jasmine Gardens development in Wychbold will receive a complimentary local history book thanks to an exciting new partnership.

The leading housebuilder has teamed up with a group of local historians to give new residents at the development a taste of Wychbold’s history and heritage as soon as they move in!

Home-buyers will receive a free copy of ‘Memories of Wychbold Before the Motorway’, which has been researched and written by members of the Dodderhill Parish Survey Project and promises a fascinating read about the area in years gone by.

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re thrilled to announce we will be working in partnership with the Dodderhill Parish Survey Project to give residents at Jasmine Gardens a chance to learn all about their new surroundings from the moment they move into their new home!

“‘Memories of Wychbold Before the Motorway’ is filled with interesting information about the area, providing the perfect opportunity for residents to get a taste of local life as soon as they settle in.”

Chris Bowers, Treasurer of the Dodderhill Parish Survey Project, adds: “We hope these books will help the new residents at Jasmine Gardens feel right at home in Wychbold!”

There’s a stunning selection of three and four-bedroom properties currently available to reserve at Jasmine Gardens, with prices starting from £189,995. Visitors can also take a look around the magnificent four-bedroom ‘Shelford’ showhome, which is now open at the development.

To make choosing one of these high-quality homes even more appealing, Taylor Wimpey offers a variety of helpful homebuyer incentives for purchasers in a wide range of circumstances.

Help to Buy, for example, enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for up to 20% of the full price of their new home, so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

Wychbold is home to a post office, a convenience store, a pub, a filling station, a hotel, a community centre, sports pitches and a children’s play area, plus Webbs of Wychbold garden centre just to the north of the village.

Wychbold First and Nursery School caters for children aged three to nine years old, and was rated ‘good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection.

Meanwhile, a wider range of shops, leisure and entertainment opportunities, as well as schools for older children, can be found two miles away in Droitwich Spa, and in Bromsgrove, which is around three miles from home.

Commuters will appreciate Wychbold’s close proximity to junction 5 of the M5, for quick links to the M42, Worcester and Birmingham, while bus services between Droitwich Spa and Bromsgrove, and between Birmingham and Worcester, stop close to the development.

To find out more about Jasmine Gardens, house-hunters can visit the Sales Centre, located off Worcester Road, Wychbold, Worcestershire, WR9 7PE, and open Thursday to Monday between 11am and 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
