Positioned on Sunderland’s southern boundary, Bellway Homes Stokesley Lodge development in Ryhope is finding favour with families looking for somewhere to live that offers a choice of house styles. Sitting on an elevated site, Stokesley Lodge over looks the coastal town of Ryhope with some homes benefiting from sea views where Bellway is offering a range of three and four bedroom homes that start in price from £184,995.

“Ryhope tends to hide its light under a bushel,” said Bellway’s Sales Manager, Dee Colonia. “The area has many benefits for families. There are number of schools catering to ages 3-16, and local colleges nearby such as Ryhope Primary and the Venerable Bede Senior School, as well as the Ryhope Junior School.

“For commuters Sunderland City centre is less than three miles away and offers a host of amenities including the Sunderland Empire Theatre where The Lion King is currently playing. For the more sporty types, Silksworth Sports Complex also provides a range of facilities including a swimming pool, gym, and dry ski slope.”

Sales advisor on site Maxine Cain confirmed that Bellway’s three storey, three bedroom, Faceby home and four bedroom Weston home were proving to be two of the most sought after styles.

“Both homes offer very generous accommodation, our buyers really appreciate the flexibility of the three storey Faceby which provides over 1,000 sq ft of living space,” confirmed Maxine.

The four bedroom Weston provides 1,270 sq ft of living space. On entering the property there is a spacious hall which leads into a large living area, separate dining room and a good size breakfasting kitchen. French doors are located from the living area and breakfasting kitchen both leading into the rear garden. A cloak room is also located on this level.

Bedroom accommodation on the first floor comprises of a master bedroom with en-suite facilities, 3 further bedrooms,a family bathroom and a useful storage cupboard. Externally there is a separate garage.

“A majority of our buyers have used our Express Mover Service,” said Maxine. “By working with a local estate agent on our buyers behalf we have been able to short-cut the time it takes to move into a new home here which our buyers really appreciate and off course the service is completely free off charge.”

Buyers can also use the Help to Buy which requires a minimum 5% deposit, the Government will then lend 20% of the cost of the home interest free for 5 years which means you will only require a 75% mortgage, thereby reducing monthly mortgage payments during the first five years of occupation.

For commuters, the A19 offers excellent links north and south, Seaham railway station is just a stone’s throw away, Park Lane Metro station, lies 3 miles north of the development, connects residents with the Tyne & Wear metro service and Newcastle.
