Fresh food specialist, Chop’d, is launching a new menu for autumn and winter. Full of seasonal ingredients and bold flavours for these cooler months, the menu will be available from all nine stores across London from 8th October.

New salads include Smoked mackerel superfood, a nutrient-packed dish with smoked fish plus broccoli, edamame beans and supergrain – Chop’d’s own blend of Camargue red rice, Puy lentils and quinoa. Also available are Autumn apple and bacon, a hearty mix of Kent apples, smoked bacon, Puy lentils and walnuts; and Fresh seared tuna paella, made with line caught tuna, red Camargue rice and roasted and fresh peppers. Perennial Chop’d favourites such as Feta, Puy lentil and pomegranate and Jerk chicken, remain on the menu.

As regulars will know, Chop’d also serves a wholesome and delicious range of soups, stews, flatbreads and wraps. Warming new dishes include Malaysian chicken satay soup; a cauliflower cheese and bacon stew made with cavolo nero, and proper cheese sauce; and Pulled pork, English apple and mash stew with red onion confit. Once again Chop’d’s commitment to sourcing and provenance can be seen in this dish, which is made with outdoor-reared British pork and Kent apples.

In addition to these are Chop’d signature ‘Create your own’ salads, wraps and flatbreads, plus breakfast served 7-10.30am. Naturally, vegetarians and vegans are well-catered for with a wide range of pulses, grains, beans, cheeses and nuts available as salad ingredients. ‘Protein pots’ are also available for amino-fiends to top up their lunchtime intake.

Chop’d opened its first store in Leadenhall Market in December 2004. Offering fresh salads, delicious hot wraps, soups, stews and flatbreads, Chop’d is an ideal destination for those seeking a healthy, nutritious meal on the go, from breakfast through to dinner. Small independent suppliers play an integral part in the business: organic tofu is provided by a supplier in Brick Lane; tuna is line caught from the Indian Ocean; salmon is fished from the Shetland Islands. Chop’d stores provide fresh, nutritious food, quickly and at accessible prices – no standard option is over £6.
