Linden Homes is continuing to celebrate success at its new homes development in Huntingdon, where a quarter of the properties have been bought from plan since its launch in June.

Once complete, the Saxon Gardens development will boast 180 new two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Of the 128 homes for private sale through Linden Homes a quarter have been snapped up from plan by savvy customers – equating to just over £3.4 million in sales.

The stunning homes at one of Linden Homes Midlands’ newest regional developments are conveniently located just a mile from Huntingdon town centre, yet within touching distance of the Cambridgeshire countryside.

Some 33 of the new homes at California Road have already been reserved fresh from the drawing board – which means the earliest home hunters now have the chance to buy at the development is for a Spring 2015 completion.

Linden Homes Midlands sales director Chris Roads said: “A contribution of the early success is the customer awareness of the many advantages of reserving a new home from plan.”

He said: “Buying off plan and the many benefits it presents is becoming a growing trend among our customers, who understand more and more what excellent opportunities and advantages reserving at the early stages of a development can present.

“We would urge anyone interested in reserving at this or any of our new developments to act sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.”

Buying off plan presents many benefits; contemporary kitchens and bathrooms, energy efficiency fittings and a 10-year National House Building Council (NHBC) protection are among the many advantages, as well as:

Selecting a plot with a sought-after south facing garden
Choosing preferred taste in bathroom wall tiles
Choosing preferred kitchen units and worktops
Having a blank canvas from which to plan your new home
Lower utility bills and reduced maintenance bills that new homes can offer
New materials used in the construction process also mean that new homes are more energy efficient than their older counterparts

Saxon Gardens is located adjacent to Huntingdonshire Regional College, whose students came up with the site name and branding.

The Year 2 students followed a brief from the Linden Homes, and a group of creative youngsters used the hands-on task to gain valuable experience as part of their studies.

The Saxon Gardens show homes and sales and marketing suite are open daily from 10.30am until 5pm. Alternatively, visit lindenhomes.co.uk.
