St Peter’s Hospice is holding a VIP shopping event at one of its local shops, giving people the chance to nab new and pre-loved designer items at bargain prices in the run up to Christmas.

Savvy fashionistas are being invited to a VIP shopping evening at the St Peter’s Hospice shop on the High Street in Shirehampton on Thursday 27 November where shoppers will be treated to an extra 20% off the already slashed ticket prices while enjoying nibbles and refreshments during the special evening.

Guests can enjoy a glass of wine while shopping from the store’s latest pre-loved collection which includes designer items from Gucci, Reiss, Kurt Geiger and Jimmy Choo.

The event is taking place from 5.30pm-7.30pm and the £5 ticket price as well as sales made on the evening will raise vital funds for Bristol’s only adult hospice.

St Peter’s Hospice assistant shop manager at Shirehampton Rory Collins said: “The VIP shopping event is going to be fantastic. Guests will enjoy an evening of socialising, shopping and raising money for a great cause.

“It gives the opportunity for everybody to get into the Christmas spirit and we have some absolutely fab party wear, shoes and handbags, which are all in tip-top condition as well as menswear, childrenswear and homeware.

“There will also be a chance to win a £25 pre-Christmas shopping spree at the store.

“It’s going to be a really fun, friendly evening so we hope lots of people will be able to join us on the night!”

As Bristol’s only adult hospice, St Peter’s Hospice cares for more than 2,670 patients each year as well as supporting family members.

All services are provided free of charge but this care costs around £18,000 a day. For around £14,000 of that, the hospice relies on gifts in wills, kind donations and funds generated by the hospice shops.

Tickets for the event are limited and cost £5 from the Shirehampton shop.
