A high ratio of sales means that the entire first phase and half of the second wave of new Redrow homes in Slade Green have now been sold.

The award-winning homebuilder’s hugely successful Ratio development forms part of a regeneration project that is transforming the former Howbury Centre site into a desirable place to live.

Along with the new homes, Redrow will also be building a new neighbourhood shop and providing open amenity space for public use. The site will also be home to new and redeveloped facilities created by the London Borough of Bexley, including a recently opened multi-functional community centre and library, plus two primary schools.

The latest chapter in the project is the sales launch of a new apartment block, Crystal Court, this weekend (November 22/23).

Kerry Jenkins, sales director for Redrow Homes (South East), said: “We’re immensely proud of how we’re helping change the face of this part of Slade Green. Ratio has quickly established itself as somewhere people want to live thanks in part to the good choice of homes available.

“Typically we’re selling two or three properties a week and hope to continue that success with the launch of the latest phase, Crystal Court. It will offer two-bedroom apartments that are sure to appeal to a range of purchasers including first time buyers, investors and downsizers. Based on our earlier success we’d encourage would-be homeowners to get in touch without delay if they want to snap up one of the apartments.”

Designed to maximise the potential of the space available, the apartments boast convivial open plan layouts with combined kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen is well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances; while the en-suite to master bedroom and the main bathroom both benefitting from quality fixtures and fittings.

Prices for the latest release of apartments will be announced this weekend (November 22/23). In the meantime there’s a choice of three and four-bedroom family homes available, priced from £334,995.

All of the homes are available with Help to Buy. The Government backed scheme makes homeownership easier to afford as it allows customers to take out an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price. It means that someone buying in this way should typically only need a relatively small deposit of around 5%, plus a 75% mortgage from their chosen lender. Crucially the loan is interest free for five years.

Located 15 miles to the east of London, just inside the M25, Slade Green offers excellent connections for both work and leisure time. With a fantastic choice of golf courses to choose from locally, and an excellent supply of local schools close to the development, Ratio offers something for everyone to enjoy.
