As the Government’s flagship ‘Help to Buy’ celebrates its first anniversary this autumn, more than 50,000 people have been able to buy a home of their own thanks to the scheme. Not only is Help to Buy enabling more people to get onto the property ladder, it is also helping many to purchase a larger home than they would have otherwise bought. At Bellway’s Kingley Grange development in Rayleigh, Essex, a selection of spacious family homes are available, all of which are available to purchase using Help to Buy.

Thousands of property hunters in the UK have been able to get their first home or secure a bigger one for their growing family by using Help to Buy. The scheme provides an equity loan from the Government of up to 20% of the value of the property, leaving the homebuyer to find just a 5% cash deposit and secure a mortgage of up to 75% for the balance.

Paul Timson, sales manager at Bellway Homes Essex comments: “Purchasers looking to upsize to their home for life could take advantage of the Help to Buy scheme, as it means finding a smaller deposit, which many people struggle to raise. All of the homes at Kingley Grange are available with Help to Buy, so finding the home of your dreams can now be a reality with Bellway”.
