North East house hunters hoping to make their Christmas wish of securing a new home a reality could take advantage of a series of festive offers from Miller Homes.

With Christmas fast approaching, Miller Homes has introduced a number of price reductions across its North East developments to help buyers make their next move for less.

At Wensleydale Park in Blyth, four-bedroom family homes are now available from £190,000, after selected plots were reduced by up to £10,000 by the leading housebuilder.

Alternatively at Park View the four-bedroom Nunsmoor with Atelier (plot 18) is now priced at £249,950 after it was reduced by £10,000, meaning that only 1% stamp duty is applicable.

Miller Homes is also offering a selection of deals on the last few homes remaining at its Newcastle development, Greenvale Park. With prices now starting from £159,950, buyers could choose from either the three-bedroom Carron or Kipling.

Andrew Somerville, regional sales manager for Miller Homes North East, said: “At this time of year many people dream of securing their new home in time for the festive season, so we wanted to give buyers in the North East a helping hand to turn their Christmas wishes into a reality.

“With special offers introduced on selected plots across the region now really is the time for buyers to visit our developments to find out more and make the most of our deals. Many of the deals include homes which are ready to move straight into so buyers could be celebrating in their new home sooner than they think.

“We are committed to creating sustainable communities and the quality craftsmanship behind every Miller home, combined with the special offers available this Christmas ensures every Miller home is built to the highest quality and offers great value for money.”

In addition to its festive discounts Miller Homes is also offering a number of purchase incentive schemes, including its Home Exchange scheme for those who have an existing property to sell and the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme for buyers in need of a helping hand.

Help to Buy offers assistance for buyers who only have a deposit of 5% through the provision of a 20% equity loan from the Government for those who meet the qualifying criteria, meaning buyers could only need to secure up to a 75% mortgage from a provider.

For existing home owners, Home Exchange from Miller Homes allows people to swap their current home for one of the leading housebuilder’s selected plots, regardless of whether they are looking to upsize, downsize or swap like-for-like – no price differential is required.

The scheme offers a cash buyer for the property and also eliminates advertising costs and estate agents’ fees. Once Miller Homes confirms that a property qualifies for Home Exchange, an offer could be made within seven days and once a price has been agreed and a new Miller home to move to has been chosen, the transaction can progress quickly.

Other Miller Homes developments located across the North East of England, where it is creating sustainable communities, include Bishops Park in Gateshead, Wheatfields in Seaton Delaval, The Meadows in Framwellgate Moor, St Mary’s Green and Acklam Woods both in Acklam and Wheatlands Chase in Redcar.
