The Government’s Help to Buy scheme has proved a big hit with buyers at a Rippon Homes development in Mansfield Woodhouse, where 43% of homes have been purchased using the scheme.

The local house builder has revealed that 13 out of 30 homes have been bought at Portland Place with Help to Buy, which allows buyers to purchase their home using a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, backed up with a 20% equity loan.

As the development offers a rare opportunity to own a new home within the village’s picturesque Conservation Area, Rippon is now calling on property hunters to visit the popular Portland Street development for the last chance to purchase.

Ian Dyke, Managing Director at Rippon Homes, comments: “We are thrilled that this Government scheme has helped so many buyers take their first steps onto the property ladder at Portland Place.

“We now have just one three-bedroom home available at Portland Place, which comes complete with a number of homely finishing touches, including light fittings, curtains and blinds throughout.

“We’re encouraging home buyers who want to move to a quiet popular location in a conservation village to make an appointment to view The Tupton, as it offers a rare opportunity to own a new home in the heart of this popular and attractive village, and within walking distance of local amenities.

“This well-designed home is suitable for first and second-time buyers and is sure to impress, thanks to the spacious rooms and high quality finishes throughout.

“Plus, we’re making moving easier, quicker and more affordable by offering buyers the opportunity to use part-exchange or Help to Buy.”

The townhouse-style property benefits from a spacious lounge and stylish, well-equipped kitchen/dining room, which is fully fitted and features French doors opening onto the rear garden.

Upstairs, there is a generous master bedroom, a sleek family bathroom and two additional bedrooms.

The semi-detached property also benefits from off-road parking and features attractive finishing touches, including energy efficient wooden doors and double glazed window frames.

To making moving quicker and easier for those taking a step up the property ladder, The Tupton is available with Rippon’s part-exchange scheme, while those looking for a more affordable route into home ownership can reserve with a 5% deposit using Help to Buy.

With Rippon’s part-exchange scheme, buyers can enjoy a fast move to The Tupton, as the house builder will act as a buyer for your existing property. Making your move up into a new home hassle free.

This means no estate agents fees, a quick sale, no chain and little risk of the deal falling through.

Ian adds: “We are delighted with the success of this development, having transformed what was previously derelict land into an attractive collection of new homes and a convenient and popular place to call home.”

The Tupton is priced at £129,950.
