Leading developers Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes are set to unveil details and prices of new homes to be built in Longford at a special preview event next week.

Potential buyers will be able to find out more about the homes planned on Tuesday November 25 at Gloucester Rugby Club where the developers will be showcasing the homes to be built at Whittington Park.

Due to run from 4pm-7pm, the preview event will give potential buyers the chance to learn more about the new homes being built and an insight into the quality and style planned for Longford.

Barratt is set to build one, two, three and four bedroom homes at the development which is just two miles from the centre of Gloucester and offers easy M5 access for commuters while
David Wilson Homes will be offering two, four and larger five bedroom homes at Whittington Park.

Construction work is already underway at Whittington Park and high levels of interest have prompted the developers to release information ahead of the official launch.

“Homes at the new development have been created to provide the styles of modern living that buyers are searching for in a new home,’’ said Barratt sales director Andrea Pilgrim.

Key features include traditional looking exteriors to complement the surroundings together with modern and airy interiors and flexible layouts.

Energy conservation is also high on the Barratt agenda with the new homes designed to be as energy efficient as possible and offering huge energy cost savings over older homes.

David Wilson Homes sales director Louise Ware said Whittington Park is already attracting high levels of interest and the preview event gives potential buyers a great opportunity to find out more before the launch in the new year.

“Traditionally, demand has always been high when we have unveiled a new development in Gloucestershire and with such an enviable range of homes on offer we anticipate strong levels of interest in Whittington Park,’’ she added.
