Take an 8D ride on Santa's sleigh at Wookey Hole Caves

Children visiting the popular Santaland at Wookey Hole Caves will be able to take a rip-roaring 8D ride over rooftops on Santa’s sleigh before meeting the man himself this Christmas.

Brave visitors entering the brand new 8D experience at the tourist attraction will join Santa’s top reindeer Blitzen and hapless elf Bobo as they fly their sleigh across the world to deliver presents in this festive adventure.

Children will be transported to the North Pole on Christmas Eve where the pair are left with the important job of spreading Christmas cheer after Santa accidentally gets knocked out. Blitzen, Bobo and the audience weave through the night sky wreaking havoc and mayhem as they go!

All in stunning 8D the film, called Sleigh Ride, comes to life on screen with special effects. Audiences feel the wind on their face as they fly through the night, feel the bump of the sleigh as it lands on a roof and enjoy a ride full of surprises and thrills.

As well as taking the sleigh ride visitors will also enjoy all the usual Santaland attractions from 22 November to 24 December, including getting a present from Santa and his real reindeer in the West Country’s biggest grotto, enjoying the special Christmas Circus show and taking a cave tour with Christmas characters and illuminations.
