Property-seekers are being urged not to miss out on the chance to get more for their money with a family-size home at Taylor Wimpey’s Great Western Park development in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

There’s a superb selection of spacious three and four bedroom homes available at the development and with Help to Buy, purchasers across the region are finding they can move to a bigger home for less than they had thought!

Michelle and Luke Aylett, for example, used Help to Buy to upgrade to a three-bedroom home and are looking forward to having a big enough home to start a family.

Help to Buy enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for up to 20% of their new home’s full price – so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Michelle says: “Our new place will have a kitchen/dining room and a separate lounge, so there will be more space to be able to play with children, and the garden is a good enough size to have play area. We wouldn’t have been able to buy this house without the Help to Buy equity loan. It was really helpful.”

What’s more, purchasers reserving their dream home at Great Western Park this year can also take advantage of Taylor Wimpey’s ‘Buying Made Easy’ scheme. The scheme provides home-buyers with the details of an independent financial advisor, a solicitor and up to 2% stamp duty associated with their purchase!

Nikki Gibson, Associate Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire, says: “Our high-quality new homes always represent great value for money, but with Help to Buy, those hoping to step up the property ladder can find they can afford a much bigger home than they had dreamed of.

Additionally, we offer a range of helpful homebuyer incentives which make moving so easy! However, our special ‘Buying Made Easy’ deal is only available on reservations made at Great Western Park this year, so I’d urge anyone hoping to get a great deal on their perfect property to act now, or risk missing out!”

Three-bedroom houses are currently available to reserve at Great Western Park from £280,000, while four-bedroom designs are priced from £320,000.

The four-bedroom ‘Kempsford’, for example, is priced from £320,000 and features a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, three further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from a garage and driveway parking.

Great Western Park is conveniently located close to the vibrant town of Didcot, where homebuyers can enjoy a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, with all the amenities of Oxford city centre just 12 miles away.

Over time the new community will benefit from new primary and secondary schools, shops, community centres, a health centre, open spaces and play areas.

Commuters will enjoy easy access to the A34, which leads to the M4 and M40, while Didcot Parkway railway station offers regular services to London Paddington, with a journey time of around 40 minutes.
