Skyline, a new collection of 135 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, is the latest addition to Berkeley Homes’ much sought after Woodberry Down development. Well located in London’s N4, the development is one of the city’s most significant regeneration projects which, when complete, will provide more than 5,500 new homes.

The development, which is situated on the banks of the New River and West and East Reservoirs, overlooks more than 42 acres of tranquil open water and is set to be an exemplary residential district for 21st century living.

At 30-storeys, Skyline is the tallest building in the Woodberry Down project and will be the iconic focal point at the heart of the 64-acre site, not only a landmark for the scheme but also a benchmark for modern architecture in North London.

The Skyline building, the vision of award-winning architects Rolfe Judd, was designed to capture the superb views of London and the Woodberry Down area, giving residents the rare privilege of taking in a beautiful, nature-filled landscape and a cityscape at the same time. The new, south-facing apartments will be filled with sunlight throughout the day, and the much-celebrated Manser Practice has designed the interiors to make the most of the surroundings, with large windows in the kitchen and living areas and chic vertical panes in the bedrooms.

The apartments come in three deluxe interior styles – City Modern, Classic Contemporary and Retro Chic, with two additional premium specifications, Solar and Lunar, for the higher-level apartments. The Manser Practice also designed the interiors of the lobby and hallways, creating a sophisticated continuity between the tower’s communal and private space.

In addition to the private luxury of their own apartment, Skyline’s residents will have the opportunity to use the building’s state of the art gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi and spa facilities. These facilities are located within the Skyline tower itself, which is secured with electronic keypad entry and a 24-hour concierge.

Stepping outside, residents can relax in the serene environment expertly designed by landscape architects Murdoch Wickham. Fluidity is a central motif at the waterside development, and this is beautifully expressed with meandering paths and flowing water features intertwined amongst the buildings.

Although primarily a residential project, the completed Woodberry Down development will also offer flexible retail and leisure space in excess of 50,000 sq ft and will incorporate a business training and development centre, a community and youth centre, an academy for 11-18 year-olds and a lifelong learning campus – all in keeping with the developer’s pledge to keep quality of life at the heart of the place.

Piers Clanford, Managing Director of Berkeley Homes (North East London) Ltd, comments:

“Skyline will be the centerpiece of the Woodberry Down project, offering breathtaking views of London’s most beautiful areas of natural conservation, combined with a panoramic view of London’s skyline as a backdrop just minutes away.”

As well as everything that the development offers, Woodberry Down is only a short distance away from the commercial and retail centres of Finsbury Park, Islington and Stoke Newington – giving residents an exciting menu of cultural and shopping opportunities.

For those wishing to go further afield, Woodberry Down is serviced by with excellent transportation links to the rest of London via Manor House station, providing residents with access to Kings Cross station in only eight minutes, Green Park in 15 minutes, Covent Garden in 16 minutes, Knightsbridge in 23 minutes and Bank in 22 minutes.

Prices at Skyline start at £425,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, with first completions in 2017.
