Samsung Powerbot VR9000 - Hands-free automated floor cleaning

Samsung Home Appliances has announced that its Powerbot VR9000 cleaning device is now available to buy in the UK from Harrods and independent electrical retailers.

Offering hands-free automated floor cleaning, the Powerbot VR9000 marks the start of a new generation in vacuuming thanks to three key features that help you to keep your home cleaner than ever. Firstly, Samsung’s Smart Digital Inverter Technology creates suction up to 60 times more powerful than conventional robot vacuums, for better dirt removal and cleaner homes. Secondly, its enlarged brush covers a much wider area from corner to corner without using side brushes, making it less likely to get tangled-up in wires or carpet fabric.

Lastly, the strong suction power will be maintained longer thanks to Samsung’s CycloneForce technology. It generates a strong centrifugal force that circulates dust particles through the inner chamber so the dirt and debris is separated from the air and sieved into the outer chamber. As a result, the Powerbot VR9000 keeps the filter cleaner, reducing the risk of clogging over a longer period of time.

This brand new cleaner also features an upgraded, high-performance FullView Sensor™ that helps it to understand its surroundings more minutely. A suite of sensors help it to locate very narrow or small obstacles across a wide area while minimising ‘blind spots’.

A Point Cleaning function allows you to send the Powerbot VR9000 to specific spots via a remote control, with the additional ability to set up for automated cleaning schedules.
