Grainger Plc scooped four more awards for Macaulay Walk in Clapham Old Town, at The WhatHouse? Awards 2014, held on Friday 21st November at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. Macaulay Walk was awarded Gold for ‘Best Apartment Scheme’ and ‘Best Brownfield Development’, Silver for ‘Best Mixed Use Development’ and Bronze for ‘Best Development.’

Mark Woodrow, development director at Grainger Plc, comments: “We are unbelievably proud to have won four awards at one of the industry’s most prestigious awards. This has been one of our most successful developments to date and it is wonderful to see all of our hard work being recognised. When added to the two accolades at The Sunday Times 2014 British Home Awards in September this year (‘Best Mixed-Use Development’ and ‘Development of the Year’ for a scheme of 26-100 houses and /or apartments completed in the last 12 months) Macaulay Walk has been awarded six awards this year.”

The WhatHouse? Awards 2014 judges’ reports commended Grainger Plc for creating a development which is sympathetic to the history of the site whilst providing contemporary spaces with high specification interiors across all property types; ‘Retaining high ceilings, oversized windows and expansive floor space, the residential conversions of the conserved workshops and warehouse respect the industrial heritage while providing contemporary architecture and living.’

Prices at the development start from £955,000.
