Moulton showhomes set to build on off-plan success

Eagerly anticipated showhomes are now open at Redrow’s latest Northamptonshire development.

More than 330 prospective purchasers have registered their interest in the homes at Carey Fields in Moulton and, while some have had the foresight to reserve ‘off- plan’, others were keenly awaiting their first glimpse inside the homes.

Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said: “The launch of Carey Fields was hotly anticipated with a number of buyers choosing to visit other developments to help them choose their ideal home. Demand was so high that even before we opened the showhomes, seven properties were snapped up by eager buyers. Other customers, who want particular homes not yet released for sale, have made what we call an ‘early bird’ reservation, giving them first refusal when it does eventually go on sale. We also have dozens of prospective purchasers waiting in the wings who want to view the showhomes before making a commitment.

“To ensure that we can give customers the personal service they deserve we’re encouraging people to make an appointment before visiting. That way they’ll be able to look around the three-bedroom Letchworth and four-bedroom Stratford showhomes at their leisure and have time to speak to our friendly, experienced sales team.”

Externally, the Letchworth is reminiscent of a 1930s’ semi, a style which holds a special place in the nation’s affections. Inside, however it’s bright and modern.
On the ground floor, there’s a lounge to the front, open plan kitchen and dining room with French doors opening onto the rear garden, plus a laundry and downstairs cloaks.

A curved staircase leads to the first floor, where the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite while the remaining two bedrooms share the family bathroom.

The Stratford is the larger of the two showhomes, offering 1,173 sq ft of accommodation including open plan kitchen and dining room, laundry space, lounge and cloaks to the ground floor. There are four bedrooms, including master with en-suite, and a family bathroom upstairs.

Carey Fields, on Northampton Lane North, will offer 103 homes for private sale with a choice of everything from two-bedroom properties to substantial five-bedroom detached family homes.

Current prices start from £167,950 for a two-bedroom Evesham style property.

Locally there’s a selection of shops to cater for residents’ daily needs, including a post office, plus pubs, a theatre and sports complex with activities for all ages and abilities; while Northampton is just four miles away.

Moulton Primary School is within half a mile of the development, plus there are plenty of other schools for all ages in the surrounding area, making Carey Fields the ideal place for buyers with children.
