29th December 2014 Print

Co-operative Energy gives households across the country another reason for festive cheer today as it launches the nation’s market-leading energy tariff.

Available to apply through MoneySuperMarket, the Fair & Square tariff sees Co-operative energy top the best buy tables with an average annual bill of just £938. The deal is fixed until March 2016 and comes with a £30 per fuel exit fee. Customers languishing on their providers’ standard tariffs could make huge savings of up to £246 if they make the switch to this market leading deal.

Stephen Murray, energy expert at MoneySuperMarket said: “We’re so pleased to be able to offer consumers the cheapest deal on the market; with such big savings available through switching, this should be top of everyone’s New Year’s resolution list. For the first time ever, the top ten energy tariffs are all fixed deals2, and this new tariff is undercutting those already available – but, only for a limited time. For households looking to spruce up their finances in the New Year, it’s never been a better time to take action and switch.”
