Fresh food specialist, Chop’d, will launch an accessibly priced eating plan this January (26th). Renowned for its range of salads, soups and stews, the team has created the ‘Healthy Balance’, a daily or weekly (Mon-Fri) package of nourishing Chop’d food for a set price, which is picked up fresh each day from Chop’d retail outlets across London.

A selection of breakfasts is available, such as hot porridge made with nibbed rather than rolled oats (they have more nutrients) served with toppings of choice including soy milk and yoghurt, plus mixed nuts, berries or coconut. Fresh house-made muesli, and yoghurt are also options. Hot coffee completes the breakfast offering, with a decaf option for the truly virtuous.

The package also includes two from Chop’d menu of salads, soups and stews, one for lunch and the other for dinner. Diners can select from a wide range of dishes made with fresh and seasonal ingredients. Choices include butternut, spinach and lentil stew with mixed grains, smoked mackerel superfood salad with edamame, broccoli, beetroot and seeds, and chicken gyoza super soup, with peashoots, chilli, lemongrass and lime. Those wishing to take part just need to pick up a card in store.

Eddie Holmes, Managing Director of Chop’d, commented: “It’s great to see such an interest in eating well, however many Londoners simply can’t afford the average price point of £30+ per day for some of the premium meal plans and packages. Our food is fresh, real and delicious, and we hope our package offers a fantastic value, convenient alternative for busy Londoners who want to enjoy what they eat, look after themselves and achieve their health goals in 2015.”
