Discerning home-hunters in Carmarthenshire can take their pick from a fantastic choice of homebuyer incentives when they purchase a new home at Taylor Wimpey’s Parc y Strade development in Llanelli.

The leading housebuilder has a range of helpful schemes in place to make securing one of the two, three or four-bedroom properties at this sought-after development easier and more affordable, including Help to Buy Wales and Part Exchange.

Help to Buy Wales enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to access a loan from the Welsh Government for 20% of their new home’s full price – so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Alternatively, Part Exchange customers receive 100% of the quick-sale value of their existing property, based on the average of independent professional valuations, and with Taylor Wimpey acting as their cash buyer, they can stay in their old place until their new house at Parc y Strade is ready to move into.

With a superb selection of properties on sale at the development from £132,995, anyone hoping to get a helping hand on – or up – the property ladder is advised to act now, before someone else beats them to their favourite plot.

Sara Taylor, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Purchasers can choose their incentive to suit their own personal circumstances when they reserve a brand new home at our popular Parc y Strade development.

“With Help to Buy Wales, there’s no need for a large deposit, and because purchasers only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage, they have access to a wider range of more competitive mortgage deals – which means they could find that they’re saving money on their monthly repayments too!

“And for those who might be struggling to sell an existing home, or who simply want to avoid all the stress of dealing with the property market, our Part Exchange initiative takes all the hassle away from the whole process!

“I’d urge anyone hoping to take advantage of the incentive of their choice to visit our Sales Centre at Parc y Strade without delay, or they’ll risk missing out.”

Among the properties remaining for sale at Parc y Strade are the two-bedroom semi-detached ‘Douglas’, the three-bedroom ‘Chatsworth’ and ‘Harvington’ designs and the four-bedroom ‘Malbury’ and ‘Fernlea’ detached houses.

Help to Buy Wales is available on new-build homes up to the value of £300,000 and there’s no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

To find out more about choosing their incentive at Parc y Strade, property-seekers can visit the Sales Centre, located off Iscoed Road, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA15 4BT, and open daily from 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
