Early bird buyers get more choice

New homes are flying out in Barton Seagrave, where ‘early bird’ buyers are waiting in the wings to snap up properties as fast as they’re released for sale.

Homes at River View, part of Redrow’s wider Barton Park development, are hugely popular. As well as reserving new homes that are currently on the market, would-be buyers are making ‘early bird’ reservations and putting themselves in pole position for particular properties not yet released for sale.

Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), says: “The combination of the leafy location and high specification means that the homes at River View are much sought-after. Often visitors have already done their homework and identified which style of property they would like to buy before viewing the showhome. They then want to reserve at the earliest opportunity. The good news for those people is that for a refundable £500 deposit they’ll get first refusal on their preferred property when it’s released for sale.

“Two of our customers have already made early bird reservations and moved into rented accommodation while they wait for their new home to be released for sale. Plus, a number of people have signed up for Mastermove, which will help them to sell their existing property so they can buy a brand new Redrow home.”

River View offers a good choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes with prices ranging from £267,950 to £434,950.

By committing before a property is built purchasers have more opportunity to personalise their home. They’ll have far more choices in terms of kitchen and bathroom finishes, fixtures and fittings and any optional extras that can be built into the home. If they wait until the home is completed and buy what’s known in the industry as a ‘stock plot’, then a lot of those choices will already have been made.

River View and nearby Castle Fields are part of the wider Barton Park development.

Nestled amid landscaped parks, lakes and open space, the homes at Barton Park enjoy a tranquil village setting. With nearby Kettering offering journey times to London St Pancras of around an hour, it’s an ideal commuter base. Plus with schools within walking distance and children’s play areas forming part the development, it’s also well suited to buyers with families.

The showhomes at River View are open daily 10am to 5.30pm. For more information see redrow.co.uk/river.
