Savvy purchasers looking for a stunning new home in Shropshire should move fast to reserve their pick of the plots at Taylor Wimpey’s eagerly-awaited Mere Park Gardens development in Newport.

This exclusive collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes off Stafford Road has been incredibly popular with buyers since its launch and property-seekers are advised to act now to make sure they don’t miss out on the home of their dreams.

Carl Cooke, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The first new homes at Mere Park Gardens have now been released for sale and we’re already experiencing a great deal of interest from would-be buyers wanting to enjoy the many advantages of owning a brand new property in the wonderful market town of Newport.

“To give themselves the best chance of finding their perfect match, I would urge customers in search of a brand new home in a superb location to visit the development as soon as possible to avoid missing out!”

The first release of homes at Mere Park Gardens includes three-bedroom detached houses priced from just £209,995, and four-bedroom detached designs from only £230,995.

The four-bedroom ‘Monkford’, for example, features a spacious lounge opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a kitchen/dining room and a guest cloakroom completing the ground-floor layout.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, three further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while a garage and additional driveway parking can be found outside.

All homes at the development are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

To make moving even easier and more affordable, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of helpful homebuyer incentives for first-time buyers and those with a property to sell, including Help to Buy and Part Exchange.

Help to Buy enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan of up to 20% of their new home’s full price – so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%. The scheme is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for Help to Buy customers.

Mere Park Gardens is located off Stafford Road, on the eastern fringes of the picturesque Shropshire market town of Newport, close to picturesque open countryside.

Less than a mile from home is Newport’s historic town centre, which offers a wealth of opportunities for shopping, entertainment and leisure.

Shoppers will appreciate the mix of popular high street stores and independent shops, while the town centre also boasts a selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and takeaways.

For the weekly shop, Waitrose is located on Audley Road, less than a mile from home, while there is a range of schools for children of all ages in the local area – including the well-regarded Newport Girls’ High School and Adams’ Grammar School.

The new homes at Mere Park Gardens are close to the A41, which offers quick access to the M54, putting Birmingham and Wolverhampton within easy reach. The A518 is also nearby for convenient links to Telford, Stafford and the M6.

Telford and Wellington railway stations are both within 10 miles of Newport for services to Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury and beyond.

To take their pick of the first plots on sale at Mere Park Gardens, property-seekers can visit the new Sales Centre, located next to Mere Park Garden Centre, off Stafford Road, Newport, TF10 9BY, and open Thursday to Monday, 11am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
