Following huge success, only 3 homes remain at City East, the latest development on Barking Riverside by Bellway. Launched last September, all apartments and some of the homes, a total of over 50 properties, have sold within just 6 months.

The remaining four-bedroom family homes, offering stylish, spacious and well-appointed rooms are within easy reach of the city, made even more so by the recent grant given to extend the London Overground network to Barking Riverside, making the new homes ideal for commuters.

Karen Coulson, sales director at Bellway Homes Essex comments: “We can’t believe the success of City East. Only 3 houses remain at the development in Barking Riverside now, and based on how well the previous phases have sold, we don’t anticipate them to be on sale for very long. We’d therefore encourage potential purchasers to visit now to avoid missing out!”
Homes at this vibrant new waterfront community have been designed and built to focus on the best of 21st Century living. As well as enviable eco-credentials, buyers will find high-level contemporary styling and the latest in fixtures and fittings and integrated appliances.

The three storey, four bedroom Clover features a high quality specification offering chrome ironmongery throughout. Contemporary kitchens boast modern worktops and with integrated appliances, such as a fridge/freezer and oven and hob. The bathrooms are accompanied by Roca white sanitary ware with chrome finishes.

The rooms in the Clover house type are all spacious, including the open plan living/dining to the rear of the property, which boasts French doors to the garden. Each floor offers 2 bedrooms, two of which enjoy direct access to private terraces. The master bedroom is served by an en suite shower room and fitted wardrobes, while the second floor has the family bathroom.

With significant investment, Barking Riverside is expected to see an astounding regeneration over the next 20 years, providing thousands of new homes, green open spaces, additional and improved transport links, including the new London Overground extension, and new primary and secondary schools.

Sustainable transport is at the heart of the development with the expansion of the East London Transit; a high quality 24 hours bus service that provides a fast and direct link between Ilford, Barking Riverside and Dagenham Dock. Barking Station provides commuters with a choice of routes, with London Underground services on the District and Hammersmith & City line, London

Overground towards Gospel Oak and c2c services to Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness.

Nearby leisure amenities include the Abbey Sports Centre in Barking with excellent facilities including a well-equipped fitness studio, squash courts and swimming pool. Barking Park hosts events and activities throughout the year from funfairs to firework displays. Sporting facilities are also on offer at Mayesbrook Park, which is home to a number of the Borough’s sports clubs.
