The sales team at developer Lovell are looking forward to helping visitors find out about the company’s latest Southampton developments at the Help to Buy South Spring roadshow – Hampshire’s biggest affordable homes show - in March.

The free event – taking place at The Ageas Bowl, Southampton from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 14 March – will allow homebuyers a sneak preview of Lovell’s new Mansfield Park development off Exford Drive as well as give them the chance to find out more about the company’s latest launch of homes at Mayflower Mews in Sholing.

“We’ve got some absolutely stunning homes in Southampton and are very excited about showing them off to visitors at the Help to Buy event,” says Lovell field sales manager Mel Richards. “They’ll be able to talk to our sales team, find out more about the developments, book appointments and explore home ownership options, including Help to Buy, which are designed to make moving more affordable, whether you’re a first-time buyer or moving up the ladder.”

In the run-up to the launch later this summer, Lovell’s new Mansfield Park development is already attracting plenty of attention from homebuyers. Situated on the eastern side of the city and less than four miles from central Southampton, Mansfield Park will feature properties perfect for families, first-time buyers and downsizers with one- and two-bedroom apartments and three- and four-bedroom houses. As well as being close to the city centre, the development is within three-and –a-half miles of Southampton Parkway railway station, the M27 and Southampton airport. Download the free Lovell Homes app – now available on iPad and Android device and also available in a mobile format – to find out more or call the sales team on 02380 083 043.

Lovell also has a fantastic selection of homes at its popular Mayflower Mews development in Sholing, where it has just released a new phase of modern and stylish apartments. They include a one-bedroom ground-floor apartment currently available at £155,000 (£124,000 price after Help to Buy Equity Loan) while a selection of two-bedroom apartments start from £166,950 (£133,560 price after Help to Buy Equity Loan). The Government-backed Help to Buy initiative means purchasers need only find a five per cent deposit to secure a new home, backed with a 20 per cent equity loan from the Government which is interest-free for the first five years.

Mayflower Mews combines impressive homes, built to a very high specification with a superb location just a short drive from the city centre and only three miles from the M27. Strong sales mean a small number of three-bedroom family homes are still available, starting from £255,000 (£204,000 price after Help to Buy Equity Loan). Homes also offer some great savings thanks to the recent stamp duty changes. For example, buying Lovell’s popular three-bedroom Allerton house style at Mayflower Mews at the full price of £255,000, will cost buyers £2,750 in stamp duty – a saving of £4,900 compared with the cost under the old system. The marketing suite at Lovell’s Mayflower Mews development in Sholing, Southampton SO19 9JA is open on Monday from 11am to 5pm and from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
