The latest show home has opened its doors at Bath’s leading property development.

Located at Crest Nicholson’s Bath Riverside, it will enable house hunters considering a move to the award-winning development, the chance get a true feel for what life could be like.

The new show home - a four-storey, three-bedroom townhouse - can be found on the Longmead Terrace phase. Designed by Andrew Henry Interiors, one of the UK’s leading interior designers, it will provide an excellent guide for those looking for inspiration on furnishing their new home.

A classic take on the properties that have made Bath famous across the world, these spacious, modern three and four-bedroom townhouses are also built using the Ashlar stone.

The ground floor offers a fantastic family breakfast room with the designer Alno kitchen but what will draw potential buyer’s attention are the bi-fold patio doors which lead out onto a decked terrace and private garden.

These folding doors not only let in plenty of natural light but help extend the feeling of space.

The two tone kitchen has sleek handle free cupboard doors and a composite stone worktop providing a modern feel with integrated Siemens appliances to include a steam/combi oven, single oven, dishwasher, wine cooler, fridge/freezer and induction hob.

The first floor comprises the main living room and dining area or study which is ideal for those wanting to work from home.

On the second floor are two bedrooms plus bathroom and airing cupboard. Bedroom two also includes a built in wardrobe, again making the most of the space.

The master bedroom, which is en suite, is on the third floor. There is ample wardrobe space and second airing cupboard.

Susan Young, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson said: “A few months ago, as the development entered a new phase, the emphasis switched from apartments and penthouses to townhouses.

“What’s pleasing is that interest in the development has remained high, and shows there is demand for properties of this type. The opening of this new showhome will help add to this interest.

“Bath is renowned the world over for its Regency-styled townhouses and Longmead Terrace moulds perfectly into that genre. Better still, because these properties are brand new means that running costs are significantly cheaper than their older counterparts.”

“They will therefore appeal to those wanting to live in a Regency-styled home, but with the advantage of having a much more contemporary and considerate design.”
