Fast-acting buyers are seizing the chance to purchase their ideal brand new home at Kings Copse, Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after development in Gloucester.

The combination of Kings Copse’s superb location, along with the development’s extensive range of versatile house types and great-value prices has meant that discerning home-hunters are moving quickly to secure their favourite plots – with 10 properties purchased in just two weeks!

With interest showing no sign of slowing, hopeful buyers are advised to get in quick to ‘Make It Yours’ – or risk missing out on their dream home in this enviable location.

Charlie Joseph, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The fantastic selection of high-quality homes at Kings Copse has attracted a lot of people to the development, and it’s easy to see why as there’s something to suit a wide variety of purchasers.

“Now is a great time for purchasers to buy a new home, with reduced stamp duty for many and the Bank of England keeping the base rate at an historic low of 0.5%, which means that there are great mortgage deals to be had.

“I’d encourage anyone interested in the new properties at Kings Copse to get in touch as soon as possible to stand a chance of making their dream home their own – before someone else beats them to it!”

Taylor Wimpey’s Make It Yours initiative aims to show homebuyers the many different ways the leading housebuilder can help them make an easy and affordable move to their perfect property.

One of the plots currently available is the ‘Dovedale’, a two-bedroom coach house apartment that’s perfect for first-time buyers or downsizers, priced from just £132,500.

A private front door opens to an entrance hallway that leads upstairs to the first-floor accommodation, comprising an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room ideal for unwinding or entertaining guests, plus a spacious master bedroom, a further bedroom, a bathroom and a handy storage closet off the landing.

Also now available at Kings Copse is the final three-bedroom ‘Aston’ townhouse priced at £187,000 which offers plenty of space for growing families across three floors. Alternative three, four and five-bedroom designs are for sale at the development from £173,000.

To make choosing one of these fabulous homes even more appealing, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of helpful homebuyer incentives to suit a variety of purchasers.

Help to Buy, for example, enables eligible buyers to secure a Government loan for up to 20% of the full price of their new home, so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

This means, for example, that the lucky purchaser of the ‘Dovedale’ coach house apartment would only need to put down a deposit as low as £6,750 thanks to Help to Buy!

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

Kings Copse is located in Kingsway Village, which lies on the banks of the River Severn and is three miles south of the centre of Gloucester.

The local area features a shopping parade including a Tesco Express, while Quedgeley, two miles away, boasts a wide range of convenience stores and Gloucester city centre has an extensive selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Parents will appreciate that there is a choice of primary schools close to the new homes, including Kingsway Primary School, rated ‘good’ by Ofsted, and the newly-opened Waterwells Primary Academy. Secondary schools can also be found nearby.

The development is conveniently positioned just off the A38 and junction 12 of the M5 is only 10 minutes away. Gloucester railway station is five miles from home for direct services to Cardiff and London Paddington.

To find out why the new homes at Kings Copse are proving so popular, home-hunters can visit the Sales and Information Centre, located off Boulmer Avenue, Kingsway, Quedgeley, Gloucester, GL2 2FX, and open daily from 11am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
