Niche developer Elan Homes is set to build more than 100 new properties across the North West as it looks to cement its reputation for building in desirable locations.

The company, with its northern headquarters in Ellesmere Port, is nearing a sell-out at several developments across the region including its latest venture in Altrincham, which launched off plan just last month.

Elan is hoping to build on that success with forthcoming sites in Stockport, Warrington, Kelsall and Tarporley. The firm is also keen to acquire additional land with development potential to enable its continued growth.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, says: “We’re down to single figures at five of our current outlets – at Heritage Park in Penymynydd there’s only the show home available; there are two properties for sale at Carnatic Court in Liverpool; with only a handful of homes on the market at Fern Lea in Farndon and Vicarage Fields in Haslington; while over at Woodfield Place in Altrincham we’ve sold five out of eight homes in a matter of weeks.

“We’ve also sold a number of properties at The Paddocks at discount market rate to buyers who met eligibility criteria and are gearing up to launch the remaining homes in the autumn. Demand for new homes in the Walton area of Warrington is such that we’ve already started taking ‘early bird’ reservations for properties at Hall Gardens ahead of the homes going on release in late summer. We’ve also collated a healthy database of potential purchasers keen to find out more about out forthcoming Cherry Tree Park development in Stockport, which is due to launch in July.”

Cherry Tree Park will see 65 homes built on a 4.5 acre parcel of land at Cherry Tree Lane, Great Moor, on the site of a former hospital.

An intimate gated development of just 14 homes, Hall Gardens will offer four and five-bedroom homes ranging in size from 1,759 sq ft to 2,100 sq ft.

Elan will build 13 homes in the Cheshire village of Kelsall. The company will build the same number of properties in Tarporley, where building work will start this summer and the first homes are scheduled to go on sale in spring/summer 2016.

“Location is as important to us as it is for our customers when we’re choosing where to build. We carefully consider who would want to live in an area and why before liaising with the local planning authority with a view to securing permission to build new homes and starting work at the earliest opportunity,” Marie adds.

Anyone with land available with development potential is asked to contact Elan via the website elan-homes.co.uk/land-enquiries.
