Teesside home buyers looking to reclaim their weekends and make continual home improvements a thing of the past should look no further than a low maintenance new-build home by leading housebuilder Miller Homes.

Miller Homes has a variety of high quality new build homes available in a number of developments across the region, including the popular four-bedroom Crompton housetype which offers generous living space and an integrated single garage. With selected Crompton plots now available at developments across Teesside that are ready to move straight into, buyers could start reclaiming their weekends sooner than they think.

To the front of this family home sits a spacious lounge with feature bay window, while situated to the rear is a downstairs WC and the kitchen with breakfast/family area, which spans the width of the property. On the first floor is the master bedroom with en-suite as well as a dual access shower room offering en-suite convenience to two further bedrooms, a fourth bedroom and a family bathroom.

Andrew Somerville, Miller Homes North East’s regional sales manager, said: “As we move towards the summer months we would all prefer to enjoy our spare time rather than spend it in a cycle of continual home improvements, particularly with those living in an older property looking for the benefits that come from owning a low maintenance new home.

“The Crompton is an ideal choice for families as it is designed and built to the highest standards, accommodating every aspect of family life. Plus all Miller homeowners can benefit from the added peace of mind that a new build home offers, including a 10-year industry guarantee offered by The National House Building Council, the two year customer care service which comes with every Miller home and improved energy efficiency.”

The Crompton from Miller Homes is available at Acklam Woods in Acklam, priced from £254,950, St Mary’s Green in Acklam, priced from £259,950, and Wheatlands Chase in Redcar, priced at £239,950.

For buyers in need of a helping hand to make their dream of owning a new home a reality, Miller Homes is offering a number of purchase incentive schemes on selected Cromptons across its Teesside developments, including its Home Exchange scheme for those who have an existing property to sell and the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme.

Help to Buy offers assistance for buyers who only have a deposit of 5% through the provision of a 20% equity loan from the Government for those who meet the qualifying criteria, meaning buyers could only need to secure up to a 75% mortgage from a provider.

For existing home owners, Home Exchange from Miller Homes allows people to swap their current home for one of the leading housebuilder’s selected plots, regardless of whether they are looking to upsize, downsize or swap like-for-like.

The scheme offers a cash buyer for the property and also eliminates advertising costs and estate agent’s fees. Once Miller Homes confirms that a property qualifies for Home Exchange, an offer could be made within seven days and once a price has been agreed and a new Miller home to move to has been chosen, the transaction can progress quickly. Miller Homes’ Home Exchange scheme also allows buyers to continue living in their current property until their new home is ready for them to move into.
