Monarch launches new ski route from Manchester Airport to Lyon

Monarch has announced a new route from Manchester Airport to Lyon as part of its winter ski programme for 2015/16. The flights, which are on sale now, will start on the 20 December 2015 and operate until 10 April 2016. Some of the best French ski resorts are located within three hours of Lyon Airport and with the flight departing Manchester very early in the morning keen skiers can be on the slopes just after lunch.

Alpe d'Huez, La Plagne, Val d'Isère, Tignes and Méribel are all easily accessible from Lyon, as well as the popular resorts of Les Arcs and Val Thorens. Also close by is Les Deux Alpes which holds its own alongside some of France's mighty ski areas but without the weighty price tag.
