This year Land Rover celebrates luxury and performance with displays and interactive activities that reflect its spirit of adventure throughout this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed taking place between 25-28 June.

In this, its 45th year, the Range Rover family is represented with the UK debut of the Range Rover SVAutobiography, the most luxurious Range Rover ever. Taking centre stage on the Land Rover stand, the SVAutobiography is the ultimate in design sophistication and craftsmanship and is identified by its distinctive duo-tone paint scheme.

Taking part in the famous Goodwood Hillclimb this year is Land Rover’s latest production vehicle; the award-winning Range Rover Sport SVR.  The Range Rover Sport SVR represents the pinnacle of dynamic performance for Land Rover and is set to ascend “the hill” impressing crowds with its speed and soundtrack twice daily. Powered by a 550hp 5.0-litre supercharged V8, the Range Rover Sport SVR is capable of accelerating from 0-60mph in just 4.5 seconds.

Standing alongside the Range Rover SVAutobiography is the full Land Rover model line-up including its very latest additions, the 2016 Model Year versions of the Range Rover Evoque and Discovery Sport.  Both arrive to the market featuring new, efficient diesel Ingenium engine made at Land Rover’s Wolverhampton engine facility.

The most efficient production Land Rover ever, the 2016 Model Year Evoque delivers best-in-class CO2 emissions of 109g/km and fuel consumption of 68mpg. The Range Rover Evoque has received a visual refresh with enhanced exterior design features and interior finishes, multiple option packs and new InControlTM Touch technology.

For those who are yet to get up-close and personal with the new Discovery Sport, Land Rover is pleased to have its new compact SUV on display.  Boasting enough cutting-edge safety features to achieve a 5* Euro NCAP rating, the 5+2 seater combines the very best in design, flexibility and capability. Powered by the new Ingenium 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, designed to deliver class-leading torque and power outputs, the Discovery Sport offers excellent refinement, CO2 emissions from 129g/km and lower fuel consumption (4WD).

For those visitors keen to get involved with Land Rover’s Goodwood activities, Land Rover has a purpose-built off-road course where visitors can enjoy free passenger rides in a range of Land Rover vehicles. A complex series of steep inclines and descents offer a chance for visitors to experience the gravity-defying extremities a Land Rover can be taken to.

For younger visitors there is an interactive miniature off-road course especially designed for radio-controlled Land Rovers.  A hit with children of all ages, the scaled-down all-terrain track has all the challenge and excitement of the real thing.
