When buying a new home, it is important to make sure you know what you’re getting for your money. To help inspire buyers at its Vision development in Colindale, NW8, forward-thinking housing developer Genesis and renowned designers Roomservice by CORT have created a bespoke, fully-dressed, livable space to show the full potential of the new apartments. The show apartment gives prospective purchasers some new ideas on how to create a unique look in their new home.

Vision offers a collection of one, two and three bedroom homes, as part of the wider Colindale regeneration programme. The properties are available to purchase with Help to Buy, a scheme which provides an equity loan from the Government of up to 20% of the value of the property, leaving the homebuyer to find a 5% cash deposit and secure a 75% mortgage for the balance.

Speaking of the new show home at Vision, Tim Swaddle, Head of Residential at Roomservice by CORT said: “When we first visited the site, it was clear that the new homes would appeal to a broad market, including professionals, young families and potentially investors. We therefore wanted to provide a design that would appeal to all of these buyers, and shows the versatility of the properties, while making it feel like home.

“We wanted to provide a design with visual impact, which stands out from the crowd. The use of the chaise sofa, and a separate stylish occasional chair together with contrasting artwork and soft furnishings in trend colours gives the lounge a current and fresh feel. A mix of dark wood gives a luxurious feel in the master bedroom, and oak in the second bedroom broadens the appeal to both multiple occupants and families.”

The homes are finished to a high standard with contemporary kitchens featuring granite worktops, stainless steel appliances, including oven and microwave, and integrated white goods - fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and dishwasher - combine style with practicality.

Pristine white bathrooms with chrome fittings are sleek and understated, complemented by floor tiling and boasting finishes including a heated towel rail. En suites also feature the same high specification seen within the family bathroom.

Ideal for commuters, Vision is situated less than a mile from Colindale underground station on the Edgware branch of the Northern Line. Edgware is seven minutes away by tube, Hendon Central two minutes, Brent Cross five minutes and Leicester Square just 30 minutes. Mill Hill Broadway is the nearest Overground station, located 1.6 miles away from the development. There are many regular bus routes in the local area too, which serve Vision and the Colindale community.

Genesis is transforming Grahame Park, with new urban and green public spaces to open and lift the site. To date, Genesis has completed 787 mixed tenure homes at Grahame Park, with Vision delivering a further 143 new affordable homes to the area, set to become the new cornerstone of a vibrant community.

Additional retail and community facilities, including a library and supermarket, can be found at the central and northern parts of the development.

Prices at Vision start from £310,000 for a two bedroom apartment Prices are subject to change. For further information, visit genesishahomes.org.uk.
