Property-seekers will soon have a host of fantastic opportunities to purchase a Taylor Wimpey home in Filton, Gloucestershire – after the leading housebuilder was granted permission to build a brand new residential development.

South Gloucestershire Council has approved Taylor Wimpey’s planning application to build 500 high-quality new homes on the land to the east of Coldharbour Lane, which will include stylish one and two-bedroom apartments and stunning two, three, four and five-bedroom houses in this well-connected community on the northern edge of Bristol.

The leading housebuilder aims to begin work on the development later this year and with the first new homes expected to be released for sale this winter, would-be homebuyers are urged to register their interest today.

Charlie Joseph, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “It’s fantastic to have received planning permission for this wonderful new residential development, which will provide a fabulous selection of homes to suit a wide variety of aspiring buyers.

“Home-hunters should register their details with us today to ensure they are among the first in line to choose from the initial selection of fabulous properties when they are released for sale.”

Scholar’s Chase is an exciting new community just six miles north of Bristol, surrounded by rolling countryside and offering a peaceful, community-centred lifestyle for residents of all ages.

The development is near to a wide range of shops and amenities with Abbey Wood Retail Park just a short drive away, while Bristol boasts an extensive selection of fashionable high street shops, department stores, and fantastic entertainment venues such as the Bristol Hippodrome.

Parents will appreciate that there is a great selection of schools nearby, with Stoke Park Primary School and Filton Avenue Junior School within easy reach of home.

Commuters will enjoy easy access to the M32 for Bristol city centre, while Filton Abbey Wood railway station offers links to Birmingham, London, and Bristol Temple Meads.
