Best known for the largest dedicated rugby union stadium in the world and home to England during the Rugby World Cup, which gets underway this month, Twickenham has recently been identified as one of the happiest places to live in London.

The annual Rightmove Happy at Home Index survey polled over 2,700 Londoners to rate their local area on 12 factors which are combined to create the happiness factor, and the Borough of Richmond took the top spot.

Both house hunters and rugby fans aspiring to purchase a new home in the area will be delighted to hear that St James is due to release a new phase of houses at Brewery Gate, located in the popular Brewery Wharf development in Twickenham.

Brewery Gate is an exceptional collection of 28 luxurious four and five bedroom homes in the heart of the popular commuter location of Twickenham.

These elegant homes form part of a vibrant new community and offer intelligent spacious design perfectly complimenting 21st Century family life. The position of the development directly opposite Twickenham train station provides excellent transport links with services to London Waterloo every eight minutes.

Set within exclusive gated mews, these homes provide an ideal environment for busy families. They boast open plan designer kitchens with expansive folding doors leading to secluded gardens, luxurious bathrooms with elegant fixtures and fittings, large wardrobes and walk-in dressing rooms to selected master suites and come with the added benefit of two private off-street parking spaces each.

Paul Hopkins, Managing Director of St James Group (North London), comments: “Following the exceptionally high demand for the apartments at Brewery Wharf we anticipate the houses will be equally popular due the flexible living accommodation they offer.

“Brewery Gate presents an opportunity to buy a new property in an area which is ideally suited for families. Residents can be in Central London in just 25 minutes or, alternatively, take advantage of all that the local area has to offer, with spectacular scenery, a wealth of historical landmarks and great shopping right on the doorstep.”

Twickenham is also home to some of the most sought-after educational institutions in the country and Brewery Gate is in the catchment area of a large selection of highly-rated private and state primary schools, including the brand new St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School, as well as a number of prestigious secondary schools and colleges.

The surrounding area is also currently in the midst of an Area Action Plan – a strategy to guide future change and development up to 2027. As part of the development, St James is improving the public realm with the creation of a new piazza, cultural venue, riverside walkway and two new restaurants. Richmond Council will spend a further £7.5 million[1] to make Twickenham an even more attractive and prosperous town centre, with high quality new buildings, public spaces and works to local roads.

Homes at Brewery Gate are set to complete from April 2016 and are available to purchase off-plan.

Four bedroom houses at Brewery Gate start from £1,450,000. To find out more, register your interest and book your appointment, visit brewery-wharf.co.uk.
