Buyers looking for an affordable home in the heart of Colindale, in the London borough of Brent, should express their interest now in Network Living’s latest development, Nordic Quarter. A total of 108 units with a variety of buying options are now available to purchase, giving families the opportunity to buy a home in this popular area of North London.

Network Living is offering potential buyers the first opportunity to find out more about the new range of contemporary, Scandinavian-designed one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments, including duplexes, prior to the official launch from the Nordic Quarter marketing suite later this year. Each property includes its own parking space, a rarity for this part of London, and there will also be electric charging points and cycle storage.

Catherine Boote, director of sales and marketing, comments: “We understand that families aspire to own their own home and get out of the rent trap – but raising a deposit to do so can be difficult. That’s why it’s important to offer purchasers a range of options to help them buy. Nordic Quarter is unusual in that respect as apartments can be bought with a range of affordable buying options and I would urge prospective buyers to register their interest as soon as possible, so as not to miss out.”

Each apartment in Avery Court and Bree Court at Nordic Quarter has been intelligently designed to make the most of the space, with beautiful open-plan living areas. Homes are finished to a high standard, with high gloss fitted kitchens and integrated appliances including fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The bathrooms and en suite shower rooms will have contemporary white sanitary ware with chrome fittings.

The majority of apartments will feature terraces and balconies, while the development as a whole will put emphasis on the importance of outdoor space with dedicated play areas – filled with Scandinavian-inspired green courtyards.

Purchasers will also enjoy the choice of open parks and spaces nearby to Nordic Quarter. The Brent Reservoir, known as the Welsh Harp, is just under three miles away: a Site of Specific Scientific Interest, it comprises 170 hectares of open water with marshes, trees and a nature reserve.

There’s a host of shopping and leisure activities nearby, such as Brent Cross Shopping Centre, which is two miles from Nordic Quarter and the London Designer Outlet, which is 3.5 miles away. For those everyday essentials, there is an Asda supermarket four minutes’ walk from the apartments.

Ideal for commuters, Colindale Underground Station on the Northern line is a 15 minute walk from Nordic Quarter or six minutes by bus with services to Leicester Square in 28 minutes, Bank in 33 minutes or Oxford Street in 25 minutes. For car owners, the M4, M40, M1 or M25 motorways are all within a 30 minute drive.

The full market value for a one-bedroom shared equity apartment at Nordic Quarter starts from £265,000. Buyers can choose to purchase 80% of the market value of their home and borrow the remaining 20% – interest free for the first five years.

A selection of homes will also be available through shared ownership with prices starting from £88,200 for a 35% share in a one-bedroom apartment (full market value £252,000).
