Leicestershire buyers have already shown an appetite for new homes in Countesthorpe and with afternoon tea being served up this Saturday (November 14) potential purchasers will be able to enjoy a flavour of things to come.

It’s part of an open day set to demonstrate how traditional looking properties with high specification interiors are the recipe for success at Thorpe Meadows.

Launched three and a half years ago, the Redrow development remains a popular choice with buyers and with a new phase now released, potential purchasers are being invited to enjoy afternoon tea ‘on the house’ with entertainment for youngsters too.

Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said: “We’ve welcomed almost 100 happy homeowners to Thorpe Meadows and there’s a great sense of community in the new neighbourhood. We’re celebrating the success of the development and the launch of the latest phase of four and five-bedroom properties with an open day.

“From 1pm to 4pm this Saturday visitors will be able to view the show homes and enjoy a taste of life at Thorpe Meadows. Our friendly, experienced sales team will be on hand to explain how our Mastermove service could enable homeowners to sell up and move on quickly and simply. Plus, while parents discuss the serious side of moving, there will be entertainment for younger family members.”

Current availability at Thorpe Meadows includes four and five-bedroom detached new homes priced from £314,950 to £499,950.

Redrow’s Mastermove service is designed to help customers secure a buyer for the house they want to move from – and will pay their estate agent’s fees.

The homebuilder will arrange for their current property to be valued and, once a selling price is agreed, will instruct an estate agent to market the property on their behalf. Crucially, Redrow will keep in regular contact with all parties to ensure the sales process runs quickly and smoothly. In the vast majority of cases customers’ homes sell in just four weeks and at full market value.

Six miles south of Leicester, Countesthorpe is a charming village with a rural outlook that many people aspire to. There are good local schools nearby and shops that cater for homeowners’ daily needs are within walking distance; while Fosse Shopping Park is just a short drive away for those who want to indulge in some serious retail therapy. Plus with the M1 and M69 within easy reach, it’s also a great commuter base.

The open day with afternoon tea ‘on the house’ takes place at Thorpe Meadows, Leicester Road, Countesthorpe, from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday (November 14). For more information, visit redrow.co.uk/thorpe.
